Chargers injury report vs. Texans: WR Keenan Allen ruled out

The Chargers will be without Keenan Allen for the third straight game.

The Chargers had their final practice on Friday before their Week 4 matchup with the Texans.

Los Angeles will be without wide receiver Keenan Allen for the third-straight week. Allen has been dealing with a hamstring injury he suffered in the Week 1 victory over the Raiders.

Allen returned to practice this week, but he left Thursday’s practice early with a trainer.

“In individual, he kinda felt something, so we put him out for this game,” Brandon Staley said on Allen’s injury. “Just want to make sure that he keeps making progress. Don’t want to push it where you have a significant setback.”

In other injury-related news, L.A. is expected to have cornerback J.C. Jackson and center Corey Linsley this Sunday.

Jackson and Linsley did not play in Week 3 as they dealt with ankle and knee injuries, respectively.

Jackson was taken off the injury report, while Linsley is listed as questionable along with tight end Donald Parham. But Staley said that the expectation is that Linsley will start this weekend.
