CFP National Championship: 6 (other) players for Chicago Bears fans to watch

Monday’s championship game will feature plenty of players the Bears would improve by selecting at some point in April’s NFL draft.

The 2020 college football season comes to an official close Monday night in Miami when No. 1 Alabama will try and close out what would be a perfect season if they’re able to get by No. 3 Ohio State.

Perhaps Chicago Bears fans are a bit upset after watching their team’s season come to an end Sunday at New Orleans, but Monday’s championship game will feature plenty of players the Bears would improve by selecting at some point in April’s NFL draft.

To save from playing to the low hanging fruit, we’ll eliminate the players that are guaranteed to not be there for the Bears, who are set to pick 20th overall, and instead focus on those who have a realistic chance to be.

So no knock on Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields, or Alabama star receivers DeVonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle, barring the Bears making a major move in moving up, those guys simply won’t be around.

Who might be, however?  Here are six players to watch tonight from a Bears fan perspective if you actually need another reason to take in the national title game.
