One Great Opponent:
When I think of great teams I think of teams that are capable of winning the national championship. I think Fiutak is right that Wisconsin will be a powerhouse again in 2020, but I also don’t think they’re quite in the national championship discussion at this point.
The one opponent that Notre Dame faces that does fit that description is an easy one to guess though as Clemson checks in No. 2 in the CFN rankings. Their roster has as much star-power as any in the country and most won’t be surprised if Trevor Lawrence, Travis Etienne and the rest of the gang enter the season ranked No. 1.
