Celtics’ Luke Kornet checks in as league’s 7th-slowest player in new NBA 2K assessment

The Green Kornet is just ahead of the Utah Jazz’ Walker Kessler in this assessment.

Boston Celtics reserve big man Luke Kornet has been rated the seventh-slowest player in the league after a new round of ratings adjustments for the popular basketball simulation game NBA 2k was released and assessed by HoopsHype.

The former Vanderbilt player came out of the latest round of ratings with an overall speed rating of 38, with it dropping to 33 with the ball. That puts him ahead of a four-way tie for first including the Milwaukee Bucks’ Brook Lopez (25 overall and with the ball), twin Robin Lopez of the Cleveland Cavaliers (same stats) and Boban Marjanovic of the Houston Rockets (same stats). He’s also ahead of Ivica Zubac of the Los Angeles Clippers (26 overall and with the ball), former Boston player Kelly Olynyk (31 overall and 25 with the ball), and Sacramento Kings center Alex Len (43 overall and 25 with the ball).

The Green Kornet is just ahead of the Utah Jazz’ Walker Kessler (37 overall and 35 with the ball) in this assessment.
