Celtics at Pistons: Boston holds off determined Detroit to win 117-108

Some of the best plays captured in images from the Celtics’ 13th game of their 2022-23 campaign.

The Boston Celtics showed up at Michigan’s Little Caesar’s Arena knowing that the Detroit Pistons were going to be looking for revenge, especially with Jaylen Brown, Malcolm Brogdon, and Al Horford missing the game. And despite being held to just 36.7% from beyond the arc and outrebounded 39-33 by the Pistons, the Celtics held on to beat Detroit, stretching their league-longest winning streak to six games.

A massive, MVP-worthy performance from superstar forward Jayson Tatum secured the victory, with the St. Louis native putting up an absurd 43 points and 10 boards. Tatum had some help from forward Grant Williams (19 points, 10 rebounds), Marcus Smart (18 points, 10 rebounds, 5 steals), and Derrick White (12 points, 4 assists).

Let’s take a look at some of the best plays captured in images from the Celtics’ 13th game of their 2022-23 campaign.
