Two Oklahoma players came off the board in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb was expected to go before the first 12 picks of the draft, but fell to No. 17 and Jerry Jones’ Dallas Cowboys. Linebacker Kenneth Murray’s draft slot was a little more cloudy, and that came to fruition as the Los Angeles Chargers traded up to the 23rd pick to get him.

Lamb was known for his No. 2 in college as Murray was known for his No. 9 (his nickname at Oklahoma was K9), but that has changed.

The new Dallas Cowboy wide receiver will wear No. 10.

The new Los Angeles Charger will wear No. 56.

During his time at Oklahoma, Lamb became a Biletnikoff Award finalist after averaging 21.4 yards per catch in the 2019 season.

Murray was also a three-year starter, but a two-year captain during his three years at Oklahoma. He led the Sooners in tackles and tackles for loss after porous seasons in 2017 and ’18.

The NFL Draft will begin again on Friday at 6 p.m. CT. Oklahoma players Jalen Hurts and Neville Gallimore are expected to be drafted in the second or third rounds.
