CBS Sports: Tre’Davious White, Stefon Diggs among NFL’s 100 best

Buffalo Bills CB Tre’Davious White, WR Stefon Diggs appear in top-100 list from CBS Sports.

Buffalo Bills cornerback Tre’Davious White and newly acquired wide receiver Stefon Diggs are among the top-100 players in the NFL, according to CBS Sports.

White landed at No. 52 while Diggs is at 91 on the outlet’s listing of the best 100 players in the entire league.

Here’s how both breakdowns went:

52. Tre’Davious White

After a so-so 2018 season, he bounced back last season to play at a high level on the corner. He’s a good man cover player who is ascending.

91. Stefon Diggs

He had 63 catches for the Vikings last season, but eight were for 40 yards or more. That’s big-play ability. He will add a lot to the Bills offense.

The best part about White and Diggs making the list might be their ages. Both have plenty of years left in the tank at 25 and 26 years old, respectively. But here’s another fun thing to note: The Bills tie the Patriots for most AFC East appearances on the list. The Dolphins were snubbed and didn’t land a player here. The Jets have safety Jamal Adams (42).

The Patriots, like the Bills had two selections. Offensive lineman Joe Thuney (65) and cornerback Stephon Gilmore (6). This sure shows a change of times in the division.

Furthermore, a good sign for the Bills front office

Two of the team’s biggest moves since Sean McDermott and Brandon Beane’s arrival to Buffalo were acquiring these two players. The Bills traded back and still got White. Buffalo swung a first rounder and got Diggs.

Good signs.
