A Wheel of Fortune ‘bankruptcy’ run was so wacky that Ryan Seacrest asked Vanna White for advice

“What is going on? Please help me!”

A segment on Wheel of Fortune was so bad that host Ryan Seacrest and the contestants were in disbelief.

Footage of a recent episode of the long-standing show has surfaced online, and it might be one of the wildest sequences in Wheel of Fortune history. The category was facial features, and while contestsants got off to a great start, they quickly ran into trouble. It all went downhill so unbelievably fast.

There were five total “bankrupt” spins — including three consecutive tries —  and EVEN two “lose a turn” spins during ONE attempt to progress through a puzzle. I’M NOT KIDDING. In such disbelief, Ryan Seacrest cried out to Vanna White for help to stop the madness. The whole thing was pretty hysterical, and you have to watch it to believe it.

Netflix’s Starting 5 trailer for the NBA version of Drive to Survive is here and it looks amazing

The show features LeBron James, Jayson Tatum, Jimmy Butler, Anthony Edwards and Domantas Sabonis.

Netflix will soon have a show about the NBA, releasing October 9, and we finally have a trailer to get excited about.

Starting 5 features a primary cast of LeBron James, Jayson Tatum, Jimmy Butler, Anthony Edwards and Domantas Sabonis. It is a 10-part series that provides an inside look at the 2023-24 NBA season. Each episode is a 45-minute long insight into their lives on and off the court.

This series will operate a bit like Drive to Survive about F1 racing, Break Point about tennis, Quarterback and Receiver about the NFL, as well as Full Swing about golf.

This trailer has some fun moments, including voiceovers from all of the main stars as well as LeBron James’ daughter Zhuri and a weird moment of James dressed as The Joker from Batman.

We also see Anthony Edwards singing, some mic’d up moments on the court, and a lot of the stars hanging with their families.

The series is produced by UNINTERRUPTED (from Maverick Carter) as well as Higher Ground Productions (from Barack and Michelle Obama) and Omaha Productions (from Peyton Manning).

Here are a few of the features still images from the show:

Pablo Torre’s stellar Celebrity Family Feud comeback was an all-time great performance

Family Feud fans will always remember the name Pablo Torre.

When we think about the great performances in sports history, we don’t often enough think about the accomplishments of sportswriters.

Perhaps, however, that is because sports media personalities rarely achieve greatness quite at the level that Pablo Torre did. Torre, a former ESPN host and Sports Illustrated writer who now hosts the podcast Pablo Finds Out on Meadowlark Media, appeared on ABC’s Celebrity Family Feud.

He played alongside ESPN’s Mina Kimes, golfer Michelle Wie West, restaurateur David Chang, and author Chris Ying. Torre and his team faced off against a team led by John Legend and Chrissy Teigen.

Torre was tasked with anchoring the Fast Money segment and he did not disappoint.

After an uninspiring 54-point performance from Chang, it was up to Torre to climb out of the hole (per Awful Announcing):

“In fact, host Steve Harvey said it would take a Celebrity Family Feud record for a second contestant to reach the 200 points needed to win.”

So with a historic performance needed to earn $25,000 for their charity, the Southern Smoke Foundation, the sports media star simply did exactly what he needed to do — and he made it look easy.

He made history, or something like it, by notching 174 points and securing a victory. Torre also sarcastically thanked John Legend in the middle of Harvey totaling the score from the round, which was also very fun.

There are even t-shirts sold to celebrate this remarkable TV moment. Kudos to Torre on a job well done.

Joshua Jackson had the best Emmys reaction to the Dawson’s Creek theme song playing as he entered

You’ll never escape life on the Creek, Pacey Witter.

Actors Joshua Jackson and Matt Bomer took to the stage at the 76th Emmy Awards on Sunday night to present the Governor’s Award to Greg Berlanti. As the duo walked out, the iconic, long-time theme song of Jackson’s teen drama Dawson’s Creek blasted out through the auditorium.

Paula Cole’s “I Don’t Want To Wait” became synonymous with the angsty show — which Berlanti is credited with writing 10 episodes from 1998-2000 — as Jackson, Katie Holmes, Michelle Williams and James Van Der Beek won over hearts each week.

EMMYS PHOTOS: The best red carpet snaps from Sunday

As the recognizable tune played, Jackson had the best reaction.

Pacey Witter will forever be a legend, Mr. Jackson.

Eugene Levy delivered a perfect Emmys joke about The Bear being nominated as a comedy

Levy had the most well-timed and perfect joke.

Comedians and father-son duo Eugene and Dan Levy (Schitt’s Creek) took to the stage to host the 76th Emmy Awards on Sunday evening, celebrating the very best in television from 2023.

One of the expected big winners of the evening is The Bear, the hit series on FX that was nominated for a record-breaking 23 comedy awards.

There’s some debate, however, whether the Jeremy Allen White restaurant epic is truly a comedy, something Eugene Levy touched on that during his monologue in the most perfect and hilarious way.

“I know some of you might be expecting us to make a joke about whether The Bear is really a comedy,” Levy said dryly. “But in the true spirit of The Bear we will not be making any jokes.”

Ryan Seacrest made his anticipated Wheel of Fortune debut as the game show’s new host

It’s officially Ryan Seacrest time on Wheel of Fortune.

Ryan Seacrest finally made his Wheel of Fortune debut on Monday night, joined by show legend Vanna White as he walked onto the show stage.

Seacrest replaces longtime show host Pat Sajak, who retired from the program earlier this year.

While it’s a bit surreal to see Seacrest hosting the show instead of Sajak, the veteran television personality did just fine in his first Wheel of Fortune episode.

We’re sure he’ll settle even more into the job as time goes on as he keeps the wheel spinning for game show contestants on weeknights across the globe.

You can see Seacrest’s Wheel of Fortune introduction below.

6 photos of Glen Powell as Oregon’s quarterback in an Eli Manning-inspired Hulu show

Glen Powell looks good in those Oregon colors!

Glen Powell is becoming one of the biggest and busiest actors in Hollywood and his next project has an exciting connection to the sports world.

Powell, who starred in Top Gun: Maverick (2022) as well as Hit Man (2023) and Twisters (2024) more recently, is a sports fan. While his allegiance is to the University of Texas Longhorns, he will soon play a quarterback for the University of Oregon Ducks.

GLEN POWELL INTERVIEW: Texas superfan talks Longhorns football, the CFP and being Matthew McConaughey’s deputy

This role is inspired by Chad Powers, an alter ego that Eli Manning has used in the past. Manning has previously made fun of Powell for the improper way he threw a football in Top Gun: Maverick.

Powell will co-direct and star in the TV show, which is coming to Hulu.

Here is your first look at Powell in an Oregon jersey for the show:
