WATCH: Jordan Addison gets the scoring started for the Vikings in Week 11

Despite the early coverage by the Titans, the Vikings still found a way to break through in the first quarter.

The Minnesota Vikings knew they had their work cut out for them against a tough Titans defense. Despite the Titans’ early coverage, the Vikings still found a way to break through in the first quarter.

The Titans opened the scoring with a field goal, but the Vikings were the first to score a touchdown, courtesy of Jordan Addison.

The second-year wide receiver was able to find a hole in the coverage and then used his speed and vision to break off a 47-yard touchdown. The play would not have been possible if Sam Darnold had not stayed in the pocket and delivered a dart of a pass with the pocket collapsing.

The touchdown catch was the 13th of his career and helped him become move up the touchdown rankings within a player’s first two seasons. Leading that stat with 28 is former Viking wide receiver Randy Moss.

NBA fans got huge news on Saturday: The ‘Inside The NBA’ show will be back. Ernie Johnson, Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith and Shaquille O’Neal are heading to ESPN and ABC next season as part of an out-of-court settlement between Warner Brothers Discovery and the NBA.

Here’s how social media initially reacted:

Randy Moss found joy in one particular moment from the Vikings win in Week 10

One of those plays was made by Camryn Bynum, who had an interception and then unleashed one of his trademark celebrations.

The Minnesota Vikings didn’t have much to celebrate on Sunday but won the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. In that game the offense looked rough, Sam Darnold played his worst game of the season, but the defense made some plays.

One of those plays was made by Camryn Bynum, who had an interception and then unleashed one of his trademark celebrations. Earlier this year, we got The Parent Trap , and on Sunday, we got something new—something so glorious that Hall of Fame wide receiver Randy Moss chimed in.

The Vikings have made themselves known for their celebrations this year, led by Camryn Bynum.

The game as a whole was rather forgetful, with the turnovers and struggles of new tackle Cam Robinson, but at the end of the game, this was able to salvage some happiness from fans and Hall of Farmers alike.

The Vikings will look to bounce back strongly and more impressively against the Titans in Week 11.

Jordan Addison’s dad has strong reaction to Sam Darnold interception

After throwing an interception early in the Vikings Sunday night game against the Colts, one player’s father had an interesting reaction.

Not much went right for the Minnesota Vikings in the first half of their Sunday Night Football matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. The offensive line struggled to protect quarterback Sam Darnold.

The offense itself struggled to get going against the Colts defense, and Darnold made several unforced errors, including an interception that drew the ire of none other than the father of Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison.

On Darnold’s first interception of the game, Addison was running a route across the middle of the field and appeared to have an easy catch for a modest gain at the least. Darnold seemingly didn’t see Addison open, and was flushed from the pocket, resulting in an interception in the end zone and a scoring opportunity gone by the wayside.

That sequence of events prompted a reaction on X (formerly Twitter) from Addison’s father, Rolando Addison, Sr., who likened Darnold to famed musician and entertainer—and blind man—Stevie Wonder.

While invoking Wonder’s name is objectively hilarious, it illustrates a larger concern: Darnold’s performance has started to decline from the standout performances he turned in to start the season. Lately, Darnold has been making costly errors and missing guys fairly consistently.

His errors didn’t cost the Vikings in their game against the Colts, but the team needs Darnold to clean up if they’re going to make a playoff run, which they looked capable of just a few short weeks ago.

WATCH: Team’s reaction to Andrew Van Ginkel’s interception against Jets

On Wednesday, the Vikings’ social media teams wanted to share a different view of Van Ginkel’s interception on Sunday.

The Minnesota Vikings’ defense has been playing at an elite level ever since their first defensive snaps of the year against the New York Giants. They got a defensive touchdown on an interception from Andrew Van Ginkel, and on Sunday, the Jets had a repeat performance.

On Wednesday, the Vikings’ social media teams wanted to share a different view of Van Ginkel’s interception on Sunday.

The interception was Van Ginkel’s second defensive touchdown, and paired with his sack totals, he has a chance to win the Defensive Player of the Year award if he keeps this up. Brian Flores’s work has been fundamental to the Vikings’ success this year, but the major plays he has shown to make cannot be overstated.

You can see how much his play means to this team from the reaction. They are all behind each other every snap and every play, and it speaks to the work of both the front office and coaching staff that they achieved that level of parity.

Vikings’ link to hit HBO series on display in Week 5 win over Jets

The Minnesota Vikings and their fan base are known to reach worldwide.

This story was updated because an earlier version included an inaccuracy.

The Minnesota Vikings and their fanbase are known to reach worldwide. During Sunday’s win against the Jets in London, we saw a fun full-circle connection between Vikings fandom and a HBO hit series.

The Minnesota Vikings defeated the New York Jets to improve to 5-0 on Sunday. Prior to the game, the broadcast showed different celebrities at the game, including actor Woody Harrelson, who was donning a Jared Allen jersey. Allen was set to be honored at halftime and is one of the best Vikings defenders in franchise history.

Here’s where HBO comes in. Harrelson was part of the first season of “True Detective.” In the fourth season, which aired this year, we saw one of the main characters (portrayed by Jodie Foster) being a Vikings fan.

The Minnesota Vikings UK account wasted no time in pointing out the connection.

Vikings’ Camryn Bynum and Josh Metellus steal the show with celebration

The Minnesota Vikings earned another win on Sunday and they did so in impressive fashion, in terms of celebration.

The Minnesota Vikings earned another win on Sunday, and they did so in impressive fashion in terms of celebration. The rest of the game can be up for discussion, but the Vikings’ defense remained on point, both with their execution of the game plan and in celebrating turnovers.

In the second half of the game, the Vikings firmly influenced Aaron Rodgers and Jets offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett in what they felt like they could achieve. Rodgers threw three interceptions against the Vikings defense with one going to Camryn Bynum.

He and Joshua Metellus have been known for having some excellent celebrations, but they decided to step up their game for the London crowd. They went back to the Parent Trap and did the celebration that the British version of Lindsay Lohan’s character does with her butler.

Bynum, as you can see by the tweet below, thought highly of it. How will they top it in Week 4 if they get a turnover?
