Five games to preview

Jeremy and Matt break up the Week 4 games into two podcasts since there are a pair of games on Friday. The five games we look at are:

  • UNLV at Utah State
  • New Mexico at LSU
  • Hawaii at New Mexico State
  • Wyoming at BYU
  • Western Michigan at San Jose State

There are going to be some interesting games this week and the two best games are Utah State hosting UNLV, and Wyoming traveling to BYU.

Podcast: Can Tom Brady’s Bucs beat Aaron Rodgers’ Packers again?

Check out this week’s episode of the Bucs Wire Podcast!

Since signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020, Tom Brady has faced off against Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers twice, and he’s come away victorious both times.

Brady’s Bucs blew out Rodgers’ Packers in a regular-season meeting in Tampa early in 2020, then denied Green Bay revenge in the NFC title game at Lambeau Field on their way to a Super Bowl win.

Rodgers and the Pack return to Raymond James Stadium on Sunday for another rematch, but will this one end any differently?

In this week’s episode of the Bucs Wire Podcast, host Ryan O’Leary and Bucs Wire editor Luke Easterling recap Tampa Bay’s Week 2 road win over the New Orleans Saints, and preview Sunday’s home opener against their old NFC Central rivals:

Watch: Detroit Lions Podcast Week 2 recap and Dan Skipper appreciation episode

The Detroit Lions Podcast Week 2 recap, look ahead to Week 3 and the Dan Skipper appreciation episode

The latest episode of the Detroit Lions Podcast celebrates a Lions victory and everything that goes with it.

From a breakdown of how Dan Campbell’s team attacked the Washington Commanders to a discussion of the incredible work of offensive line coach Hank Fraley, we go over several key facets of the Week 2 win. Special notice is given for left guard Dan Skipper, who played pretty well in his first career start after toiling for six years and being fired — his words — so many times.

There is also a look ahead to the Week 3 matchup with the Minnesota Vikings. What did we learn about Minnesota from watching the Vikings play the Philadelphia Eagles a week after the Lions lost to that team?

Finally, we welcome Scott Bischoff to the Detroit Lions Podcast team. Bischoff will help analyze games and offer another set of trained eyes during the draft evaluation process.

Some bad teams are getting good/?!?!

Jeremy and Matt are back to recap the third week of the Mountain West season where everything seems to be weird. There is no clear-cut top team and some of the former bottom teams in the league are taking a step up in getting wins and could be in the running for a bowl game in New Mexico and UNLV.

Lots of games and some intrigue starting to hit this league.

Check out the latest episode of the Bucs Wire podcast

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had quite the offseason, from Tom Brady’s retirement and return, to Todd Bowles taking over for Bruce Arians as head coach, to the departure of Rob Gronkowski and the arrival of Julio Jones.

After all that, the Bucs kicked off their 2022 regular season with a dominant road win over the Dallas Cowboys, and now look ahead to another tough matchup away from home against the New Orleans Saints in Week 2.

In this week’s episode of the Bucs Wire podcast, host Ryan O’Leary and Bucs Wire editor Luke Easterling break down why Brady came back for a 23rd season, how the Bucs beat the Cowboys in every facet of Sunday night’s game, and how they can finally get a regular-season win over the Saints:
