We’re going frame-by-frame of Damire Byrd’s insane grab on the Bears’ game-winning two-point conversion.

The Chicago Bears gifted fans a 25-24 comeback victory over the Seattle Seahawks, which was made possible by wide receiver Damiere Byrd’s insane two-point conversion catch to take a one-point lead that Seattle couldn’t overcome.

Trailing 24-17 with 1:55 to play, the Bears orchestrated a six-play, 80-yard drive that resulted in a Nick Foles to Jimmy Graham touchdown that brought Chicago to within one point of tying the game with just over a minute remaining.

Bears head coach Matt Nagy made a daring move — go for the win with a two-point conversion attempt. Nagy’s decision proved to be almost as impressive as Byrd’s catch, which had an unbelievably high degree of difficult.

It was quite a rollercoaster of emotions for Bears head coach Matt Nagy during Monday night’s loss to the Vikings.

With Nagy’s tenure in Chicago coming to a close at the end of the season, he’s simply navigating these final games and trying to salvage any dignity he can.

But games like this loss to Minnesota isn’t the way to do it. Because even as a shorthanded defense stepped up, the Bears did what they’ve done best under Nagy: beat themselves.

At one point, it appeared that Nagy was close to getting ejected after he got into it with officials early in the game, where he received an unsportsmanlike penalty for what we can only assume is profane language.

“I saw what happened,” Nagy said. “I explained my opinion on it. And I don’t regret it.”

LOOK: Bears TE Cole Kmet puts in work at Tight End University summit

Bears TE Cole Kmet was among a handful of young tight ends that attended the Tight End University summit over the weekend.

Following an encouraging rookie season, Bears tight end Cole Kmet is gearing up for a potential breakout season in 2021.

And learning from some of the league’s best, including Travis Kelce, George Kittle and Greg Olsen should only help the young tight end, whose already gotten to work closely with one of the game’s best in Jimmy Graham during his rookie season.

Kmet was among a handful of young tight ends that attended the Tight End University summit over the weekend, where he got to learn from tight ends across the league, including Kelce, Kittle and Olsen.

Pictures have surfaced from over the weekend, including these photos of Kmet putting some work in whole Kittle looks on.

Kmet has been one of the standout players from the offseason program, where he’s been taking on a bigger role particularly as a pass-catching tight end. Graham has seen firsthand how Kmet grew as a rookie, and his arrow is only pointed up.

“He’s just a pro, the way he handles himself and the way he works,” Graham said. “He’s in there all the time, getting bigger, getting stronger, completely focused. He never rests on his laurels. He’s going to give 100 percent effort all the time on everything he does. He’s just a special kid.

“For him, there’s truly no ceiling. He can be as good as he wants to be. I’m excited to be a part of that, to help him get there and to win some games with him. He has a bright future and it’s been special to be able to help him do that.”

First look at QB Justin Fields wearing his Bears uniform

We’re finally getting a look at QB Justin Fields wearing a Bears jersey – and it isn’t photoshopped!

The excitement surrounding the arrival of Bears rookie quarterback Justin Fields to Chicago has been nothing short of extraordinary. There’s a new hope with this franchise now that Fields is on the roster, as evidenced by his standing ovation during Friday’s Cubs game.

While we’ve gotten several looks at Fields donning that orange practice jersey and Bears helmet during offseason workouts, fans are getting a first look at their new franchise quarterback wearing that navy No. 1 jersey that has started shipping to fans everywhere.

The first image of Fields sporting a Bears jersey — which isn’t photoshopped — was shared by the Bears’ Twitter account. Monday was the team’s media day, which consisted of some promo shots and videos of players ahead of the 2021 season, including the highly-anticipated debut of Fields.

Here’s a look at the new promo shots that the Bears shared via their Twitter account, which also include first looks at quarterback Andy Dalton, offensive tackle Teven Jenkins and running back Damien Williams.

It seems like the whole gang is at Halas Hall ahead of Tuesday’s mandatory minicamp, which runs through Thursday. That includes wide receiver Allen Robinson, who is expected to report to minicamp Tuesday after failing to show up to voluntary OTAs.

Freddie Boyd was taken fifth overall out of Oregon State. He had the misfortune of playing on a team that went 9-73 in 1972-73. Boyd played three-plus seasons in Philly and averaged double digits once, going for 10.5 points per game as a rookie.
