2016: Ben Simmons

Ben Simmons had star written all over him in college and the Sixers were thrilled to choose him No. 1 overall in 2016. They had to wait an entire season for him to take the court as Simmons suffered a foot injury that cost him the 2016-17 season. Since beginning his NBA career, he has sparkled and is a vital cog on the team.
