Cardinals have only 2 concerns coming out of win over Rams

While they are 4-0, they have not been stopping the run early and they are not getting sacks.

There isn’t much to complain about with the Arizona Cardinals’ 37-20 Week 4 win over the Los Angeles Rams. They are the only undefeated team in the NFC and now are in first place in the very competitive NFC West.

They did a lot of things right in the win.

However, as good as things are going, there are a pair of concerns as they move forward.

Cardinals inactives: Kelvin Beachum, Justin Murray out vs. Rams

Justin Pugh will start at left guard for the Cardinals and Josh Jones will take over at right tackle.

The Arizona Cardinals will be without only one starting offensive lineman as they take on the Los Angeles Rams in Week 4. They released their list of inactives and guard Justin Pugh is set to play, while tackle Kelvin Beachum is out.

Pugh had a back injury and missed two days of practice but returned Friday and fully participated. Beachum has been unable to practice for two weeks with a rib injury.

Pugh will start at left guard and Josh Jones will start at right tackle.

Justin Murray would have started at right guard but he suffered a back injury last week and is also inactive. It appears that Max Garcia will get the start at right guard.

Here are the Cardinals’ inactives:

  • QB Chris Streveler
  • RB Eno Benjamin
  • WR Andy Isabella
  • OL Kelvin Beachum
  • OL Justin Murray
  • CB Tay Gowan
  • OLB Victor Dimukeje

Streveler, Benjamin and Gowan have all been inactive for every game this season, although this week Benjamin is out with a hamstring injury.

Isabella is inactive for the second week in a row with the return of receiver Antoine Wesley.

Dennis Gardeck’s return is why Dimukeje is inactive this afternoon.
