Cardinals to add RB Tavien Feaster to practice squad

The Cardinals could need a body at running back with Eno Benjamin hurt and Chase Edmonds potentially dealing with a shoulder injury.

The Arizona Cardinals will be adding a familiar running back to the practice squad. According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the Cardinals are adding running back Tavien Feaster to the practice squad.

Feaster spent the offseason and preseason with the team this year.

This addition is likely to address injuries in the running back room.

Eno Benjamin injured his hamstring last week and was unable to practice at the end of the week.

Starter Chase Edmonds injured his shoulder at the end of his 54-yard run against the Rams. He was able to finish the game, but he was seen icing it afterward.

If he is limited this week and Benjamin can’t go, that would leave only two running backs available for reps in practice.

The Cardinals will likely announce this and other roster moves Wednesday.
