Cardinals’ grade for 3rd-round pick Michael Wilson: B

The addition of Wilson in the third round has some upside even with him suffering several unlucky injuries.

The Arizona Cardinals used the second of two third-round selections in the NFL draft for Stanford wide receiver Michael Wilson.

What grade do they get for drafting the oft-injured receiver?

Grade: B

Wilson says all the right things. He is a fierce competitor who loves the game of football, loves to compete and will fight for anything he can get.

He has good length at nearly 6-foot-2.

His athletic numbers are odd, as some are below average and others are elite. He had a below average 40 time but his 10-yard split was in the 87th percentile.

He has not had soft tissue injuries but he is prone to freak injuries like bone breaks. He broke his collarbone, his foot and his hand.

He isn’t a home run of a selection but he will make a nice addition to the team.
