Speaking of the devil – win turnover battles and win football games. It’s not always the case but tell me a battle you’d rather win in the box score than the turnover battle.

Notre Dame enters Saturday’s Camping World Bowl with the fourth best turnover margin in all of college football with a plus-15 on the season.
Although the pass rush hasn’t probably been as regularly dominant as most Notre Dame fans had hoped back in August, it’s still been very good and that has no-doubt helped to the Fighting Irish having top five unit against the pass this season.
Iowa State lost the turnover margin in three of their four losses on the year by two, those happening against Oklahoma State, Baylor and Iowa, all one-possession losses.
Turn them over and you should be in business.
