It’s unlikely that Toronto (-450) will lose a 4th straight meeting vs. the Stampeders, but there’s no need to pay the higher price on the moneyline when the Argonauts should win by margin.
PASS. Lay the points and/or bet the total instead.
Against the spread
The reigning Grey Cup champions should get their revenge Friday after getting blown out in the 1st meeting.
Only having to lay 10 points is a reasonable price, considering Toronto closed as a 10-point road favorite in the 1st meeting. While the Argonauts lost straight up, they bounced back Aug. 13 and covered as double-digit favorites vs. Ottawa.
I don’t believe Toronto’s loss vs. Calgary should be a cause for concern. If anything, the Argonauts just seemed to lack focus after coming off wins vs. mediocre teams like the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and the Saskatchewan Roughriders. The Argonauts are just as good as we thought heading into the 1st meeting and shouldn’t lack motivation this time around.
