Nothing like waiting until the last minute.
Despite sitting out of his bowl game and seemingly everyone on earth knowing that USC quarterback Caleb Williams would enter the 2024 NFL draft, he hadn’t officially declared yet.
Monday night at midnight eastern time is the deadline to declare and what do you know, early Monday afternoon Williams officially made the declaration.
Did anyone think for a second that he was actually going to come back to USC?
No.
Now the question becomes if the Chicago Bears keep the first overall pick and make Williams their new franchise quarterback or if they trade the pick and get more assets and decide to do something else at the position.
