Justin Lewis on Tuesday signed a two-way contract with the Chicago Bulls after spending the beginning of the season with the organization, the team announced.
Lewis originally signed a two-way contract with the Bulls in the offseason. He suffered a torn ACL away from the team at a workout and underwent surgery in August. They waived him prior to the start of the season, but he remained in Chicago to rehab at their facility.
The organization liked Lewis after signing him as an undrafted free agent last year and believed he could have made an impact this season. He will now return to the team in an official capacity.

Lewis was named the Big East Most Improved Player last year at Marquette after averaging 16.8 points, 7.9 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.1 steals as a sophomore. His 18.2 points per game during conference play was third among all players while he was first in field goals (128).
He played with the Bulls during the Las Vegas Summer League, averaging 7.6 points, 4.4 rebounds and one assist in five appearances. He produced his best game in Las Vegas on July 16 with 11 points, five rebounds and two assists.
