When the Tampa Bay Buccaneers traded back into the latter part of the second round of the 2012 NFL draft, they had their eye on an undersized but explosive linebacker out of Nebraska.
They landed not only an impact player in Lavonte David, but someone who would eventually come to epitomize the standard for which all other Bucs of this era would be measured.
David recently re-signed with the Bucs on another one-year deal, returning for a 13th NFL season of what should eventually be a Hall of Fame career.
