Bryce Young and Alabama are up for multiple ESPYs.

[autotag]Bryce Young [/autotag] is coming off one of the most spectacular seasons in Alabama football history becoming the first Crimson Tide quarterback to bring home the prestigious Heisman Trophy.

Now, not only is Young’s phenomenal season being recognized but so is Alabama’s epic comeback in the 2021 Iron Bowl.

It was announced on Tuesday that Young’s 2021 season has earned him an ESPY nomination for the best college athlete in men’s sports. Young and Crimson Tide have also been nominated for the best game for its incredible four-overtime, comeback victory over Auburn in the Iron Bowl.

The California cool quarterback threw for 4,872 yards and 47 touchdowns, both of which were Alabama single-season records.

Young also helped Alabama overcome a 10-0 deficit against the Tigers entering the fourth quarter and led Alabama to a game-tieing 97-yard touchdown drive with less than a minute to remain in the contest. Alabama would later defeat Auburn in four overtimes, 24-22.

The 2022 ESPYs will air live from Los Angeles on Wednesday, July 20, at 7:00 p.m. CT on ABC.
