Browns vs Raiders Week 15 game postponed until Monday due to COVID-19

Browns and Raiders will now reportedly play an early Monday Night Football game:

The Cleveland Browns and Las Vegas Raiders will not play their Week 15 game as scheduled on Saturday. Due to an avalanche of positive tests among the Browns players, with over 20 players on the reserve/COVID-19 list, the league and NFLPA negotiated a solution on Friday.

The new league policy implemented late this week that could allow asymptomatic, vaccinated players to return quicker may allow Cleveland to get some of their players back but not in time for a Saturday kickoff. Instead, the two teams will face off on Monday.

It is still not certain how many Browns players will be available Monday that would not have been available on Saturday but the decision gives them an opportunity to be cleared in time for the game.

Josina Anderson first reported that the game was going to be postponed. Jay Glazer has also reported the move. According to Albert Breer, the game will take place at 5 PM on Monday:

We will keep you up to date with all the details as things are being worked out between the NFL and the NFLPA. No official announcement has been made at this time.
