Cleveland Browns rookie defensive tackle Michael Hall Jr. exited the game with a severe knee injury.

Cleveland Browns rookie defensive tackle Michael Hall Jr. exited the game against the Baltimore Ravens with a severe knee injury. At the start of the third quarter, Hall was escorted off the field on the medical cart. Browns starters formed a half circle around him as he laid on the ground clutching his knee. Hall gave the crowd a thumbs up and received an ovation from the crowd as he exited the game.

Hall was having a fantastic game against the Ravens. He was living in the backfield all game; harassing Lamar Jackson. Hall finished the game with one quarterback hit and two tackles.

Hall had a strong rookie season after a late start. The rookie was suspended for the first five games of the season stemming from a domestic abuse case in August. The fear is that Hall may start next season on injured reserve due to the knee injury. The Browns will want to get his MRI results as soon as possible. Hall is a key piece of the Browns’ future and the team cannot afford to lose him.
