The Broncos will wear alternate uniforms three times this season, including a Color Rush game.

The Denver Broncos will wear alternate uniforms three times this season, the team announced Friday.

First, the Broncos will feature their alternate blue jerseys for a home showdown against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 3 on Sunday Night Football. That game will be nationally televised on NBC on Sept. 25.

After that, Denver will wear its orange Color Rush uniform against the Las Vegas Raiders at in Week 11 on Nov. 20. That game will air on Fox.

Finally, the Broncos will wear blue jerseys again when they host the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 14 on Sunday Night Football. That game will be nationally televised on NBC on Dec. 11 (view the full schedule).

Denver will wear its standard orange jersey for its five other home games and its standard white jersey for all nine road games.

The Broncos are 0-6 in alternate uniforms over the last two seasons. Fans in Denver will hope the arrival of a new coaching staff and a new quarterback will lead to better on-field results regardless of what uniforms are worn this season.
