Denver Broncos running back Tyler Badie (back) did not practice again on Thursday, putting his status in doubt for Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Broncos coach Sean Payton said Badie could “possibly” be a candidate for injured reserve after Wednesday’s practice. The team has not yet decided if the running back will be placed on IR.
If he does on IR, Badie will have to miss at least four games. Assuming Badie won’t play this week, Blake Watson is in line to serve as the RB3 in Week 5 behind Javonte Williams and Jaleel McLaughlin on Sunday.
Elsewhere on the injury front, safety JL Skinner (ankle) was upgraded to a full participant at practice.
