The scheduling carousel continued for Wisconsin basketball today. With the Badgers having their Wednesday game against Northern Iowa canceled due to the Panthers shutting down basketball activities, UW was on the lookout for a game this week. Wisconsin found their game from UNI’s neck of the woods, the Missouri Valley Conference.
The Badgers have that game, and it comes against a 2018 Final Four squad. Wisconsin will take on Loyola-Chicago at the Kohl Center on Tuesday, the school announced just minutes ago.

The Loyola-Chicago Ramblers come in at 3-0 on the young season, and are coming off of a 2019-20 season in which they went 21-11 overall and 13-5 record in the Missouri Valley Conference.
Led by 6-foot-9 senior big Cameron Krutwig, who was part of the 2018 miracle run to the Final Four, the Ramblers are a dangerous, experienced team that plays tremendously tough defense. This one should be a grinder, with two teams that win games on the defensive end of the floor. Loyola-Chicago and Northern Iowa, Wisconsin’s new opponent and old opponent, were the two favorites in the MVC coming into the year.
