Alabama defeated Arkansas 24-21 on Saturday afternoon. The Crimson Tide looked solid on both sides of the ball in the first half. However, the second half was the tale of two tapes.
The offense struggled to generate any points — albeit a 30-yard field goal that was made by kicker Will Reichard. Outside of that, the offense did not score any points in the second half.
The defense lived up to expectations when it mattered the most. It was not the best game that Alabama has played so far this season. Nonetheless, it was a win and that is all that matters at the end of the day.
