See it: Mike Vrabel’s face says it all about Titans’ pathetic first half vs. Ravens

Mike Vrabel’s face said it all about the Titans’ first half against the Ravens.

The Tennessee Titans are off to a horrible start in their Week 6 game against the Baltimore Ravens in London — and a clip of head coach Mike Vrabel says it all about how his team is playing.

Tennessee’s only points of the half came on the first offensive series, which was aided by a pair of pass interference penalties on the Ravens, one of which was questionable.

The Titans made it into the red zone but wide receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine dropped a pass in the end zone, leading to Tennessee having to settle for a Nick Folk field goal.

The Titans would only get one more first down the rest of the half and were outgained 242-66.

Things weren’t any better on defense, as the Ravens moved the ball through the air with ease. The Titans were able to buckle down in the red zone and get three stops to force field goals, but the Ravens finally broke through with a touchdown near the end of the second quarter.

As if things couldn’t get any worse, the Titans’ special teams unit gave up a 70-yard punt return to set up one of those field goals, and wide receiver Kyle Philips fumbled a punt he had no business fielding with one second left in the half, gifting Baltimore with another field goal to make it 18-3 at the half.

Luckily, the Titans get the ball to start the second half, but there has been nothing to suggest they can overcome the current deficit.
