For the second time in three seasons, [autotag]Nate Oats[/autotag] and the No. 2 Alabama Crimson Tide men’s basketball team are the SEC regular season champs. Alabama claimed the title with a 17-point comeback victory over the Auburn Tigers on Wednesday night 90-85.
Alabama once again struggled to find its rhythm from behind the arch connecting on just eight of its 31 three-point attempts. Auburn came out firing on all cylinders and connected on 12 of their 20 attempts from the three-point line.
Senior guard Jahvon Quinerly saved the day for the Crimson Tide with his 24 points off of the bench.
