On Monday night from inside Coleman Coliseum in Tuscaloosa, Nate Oats and the Alabama Crimson Tide men’s basketball team tipped off the 2023-24 season with an impressive 105-73 win over Morehead State.
The Crimson Tide took complete control of the game from the opening tip and never looked back quickly building a double-digit lead.
Alabama was led by several newcomers as well as some familiar faces. North Dakota State transfer forward Grant Nelson dominated the night with 24 points and 7 rebounds and put together a couple of highlight dunks.
Mark Sears, Jarin Stevenson, and Aaron Estrada all scored in double digits for the Tide.
