Boston rolls out its bench in preseason loss to the New York Knicks

Dalano Banton, despite some struggles with efficiency from deep, showed promise as a ball handler and on the defensive end.

The Boston Celtics rolled out their bench players in a preseason loss to the New York Knicks on Monday night, and several Boston players made strong impressions in their preseason play for the team. Payton Pritchard in particular stood out with his scoring and playmaking, scoring 15 points, grabbing 3 rebounds, and dished out 1 assist.

Dalano Banton, despite some struggles with efficiency from deep, showed promise as a ball handler and on the defensive end. Lamar Stevens played with intensity, contributing 11 points and 8 boards, though he needs to improve his 3-point shooting. Neemias Queta, a Portuguese player on a two way deal, made his debut, showcasing his size and rebounding ability, and tendency to foul too much.
