If there was a shot more clutch than point guard Derrick White‘s last-second tip-in that kept the Boston Celtics from falling to the Miami Heat in Game 6 of the 2023 Eastern Conference finals, one would have to think quite long and hard to come up it.
But the Celtics were certainly no stranger to such plays in the 2022-23 regular season and the 2023 postseason that followed it, garnering them a spot in the NBA’s official “Most clutch sequences from the 2022-23 NBA season” highlight video released earlier this summer — and for good reason.
