It looked very promising Monday for [autotag]Ohio State[/autotag] with Ole Miss transfer cornerback [autotag]Davison Igbinosun[/autotag] after 247Sports’ Chris Hummer logged a crystal ball pick for him to choose the Buckeyes.
It didn’t take long afterward for Igbinosun to announce his commitment to Ohio State: He committed to the Buckeyes on Tuesday. This is a huge win for head coach [autotag]Ryan Day[/autotag] because the cornerback fills a big need in the secondary. He showed a great deal of promise during a freshman All-American campaign.
The depth Igbinosun will provide means there will not be as much pressure on a pair of incoming freshman to produce early. He is expect to contribute immediately in the Buckeye secondary.
