Another day of spring practice and another fresh face becomes an official Ohio State Buckeye. Marvin Harrison Jr., son of NFL great Marvin Harrison, lost his black stripe today becoming an official member of the team.
It’s odd to believe that when your dad is an NFL Hall of Famer, you might get overshadowed. But that seemed to be the case with Harrison Jr.
Not that he isn’t good. He’s really good. A top 100 player in the country good and the No. 14 ranked wideout in the land according toย 247Sports Composite Rankings
But when OSU has been bringing in guys like Emeka Egbuka, the No. 1 ranked receiver in the land, it might be easy to get lost in the shuffle. But don’t sleep on the younger Harrison. He’s got the size and talent to do some special things for the Buckeyes. Oh, and he’s been catching passes in high school from another Ohio State recruit, Kyle McCord.
Just like Pops, Harrison is a man of few words. Listen to what he says after hearing of the honor.
“Shout out to all the coaches. The defense, for making me better every day. Special shout out to Zone 6. Go Bucks!” Harrison said

One thing is for sure, making his point in as few words as possible, has to make dad proud… among other things of course.
