According to some major statistics, the Buffalo Bills have the NFL’s best kicker heading into Week 11.

That is, of course, the single eye-black wearing Tyler Bass.

Bass, in his second season as Buffalo’s kicker, has barely missed a beat so far in 2021. So much so, he ranks as the NFL’s top kicker in a few distinct areas.

As CBS Sports highlights, Bass has the league’s best field goal percent, extra point conversion rate, and paces kickers in points per game:

For these efforts, Bass has gotten some recognition already this season. He was named the AFC Special Teams Player of the Month in October.

Bass, 24, was a sixth-round pick of the Bills at the 2020 NFL draft. It’s not rare, but head-turning when a kicker gets selected.

Because of that, many had expected him to make the Bills’ roster as a rookie, even if they were surprised the team drafted a kicker.

Halfway through only his second season, no one is questioning any decisions relating to Bass right now. He’s on fire.
