#Bills’ Tyler Bass named AFC Special Teams Player of the Month:

Tyler Bass took home something better than turkey this time.

On Thursday ahead of the the Buffalo Bills’ Week 13 meeting with the New England Patriots (6-5), Bass was named the AFC Special Teams Player of the Month for November 2022.

It is the second time the Bills (8-3) kicker has won the honor. The last time came in October 2021.

During the past month, Bass was 12-of-13 on field goal attempts.

Two games in particular stood out.

During a 31-23 win over the Cleveland Browns, Bass tied a team record by making six kicks in a single outing. Bass previously had already tied that number in the past.

Bass then connected on a game-winning kick against the Detroit Lions in the final seconds on Thanksgiving to send Buffalo home with a 28-25 win.

On the year, Bass leads the NFL with 101 points scored entering the month of December.

In earning another monthly honor, Bass becomes the first Bills special teamer to take home the award multiple times since punter Brian Moorman (2002, 2005, 2006).
