Bills snap counts: Depth chart breakdown vs. Cowboys

The Bills took to the national stage on Thanksgiving and beat the Dallas Cowboys 26-15.

Defense

Notes:

  • Levi Wallace and Kevin Johnson split duties at CB again, but for the second-straight, Wallace did play more. Wallace played in 60 percent of snaps to Johnson’s 47 percent vs. the Cowboys. In Week 12 vs. the Broncos, those two played in 64 percent to 36 percent, respectively.
  • Taron Johnson played in 85 percent of snaps after playing in 64 percent in Week 12. In Week 11, Johnson played 90 percent of snaps at CB.
  • The Bills played a heavy rotation at the defensive line. At DE, Shaq Lawson, Trent Murphy and Jerry Hughes played in 54, 63 and 78 percent of snaps, respectively.
  • At DT, Jordan Phillips, Star Lotulelei and rookie Ed Oliver played in 54, 45, and 51 percent of snaps, respectively. However, Corey Liuget played in 15 percent of snaps after playing 28 percent in Week 12.
  • The 100-snap club played out per usual, minus Wallace, S Jordan Poyer, LB Matt Milano, CB Tre’Davious White, S Micah Hyde, LB Tremaine Edmunds.

Special teams

Notes:

  • RB Senorise Perry and LB Corey Thompson took a dip from playing in the most special teams snaps last week.
  • After playing in 58 percent of special teams snap last week, S Kurt Coleman only played in 22 percent vs. the Cowboys (not listed).
  • S Dean Marlowe did not play vs. the Cowboys after playing in 54 percent of special teams snaps last week. S Siran Neal was active and played in 57 percent of snaps after missing time due to a concussion.
