Bills signing ex-Titans guard Rodger Saffold

After being released by the Titans last week, Rodger Saffold has found a new home.

Former Tennessee Titans guard Rodger Saffold has found a new home with the Buffalo Bills after being cut by his previous team last week.

The Bills announced Saffold’s deal is for one year, although the exact dollar amount isn’t known yet.

After three seasons in Nashville, Saffold was cap casualty of the Titans last week, saving the team over $10 million in cap space. The veteran, who will turn 34 in July, had a down campaign in 2021, as he struggled with a shoulder injury and in pass protection.

However, Saffold is still a great run-blocker, team leader and all-around locker room guy, and his tenure in Tennessee overall was no doubt a successful one in terms of what he brought to the team.

Saffold recently bid farewell to the Titans in a classy post on social media that embodied everything he was to the franchise.
