The Buffalo Bills brought their total of players signed to a reserve/future contract to 11.
On Tuesday, the team announced that cornerback Olaijah Griffin was signed to one.
Griffin left college at USC two years early to enter the 2021 NFL draft. Unfortunately for him he went undrafted.
However, Griffin latched on with the Bills as a UDFA.
Despite being cut at the end of training camp, Griffin ended up on Buffalo’s practice squad for the regular season.
Griffin is known as being the son of rapper and producer Warren G.
Considering his extreme youth having left school early, Griffin could end up as a long-term project for the Bills that might pay dividends. Buffalo has a track record of having groomed young cornerbacks into solid products such as former UDFA from Alabama, Levi Wallace.
