After the end of the 2023 NFL season, Buffalo Bills linebacker Terrel Berard made a statement many would agree with.
Including Buffalo head coach Sean McDermott.
“I feel like I made a lot of progress,” he said.
While at the 2024 NFL scouting combine, McDermott had a conversation with the team’s radio show, One Bills Live. The coach was asked who his breakout player of last year was.
Without a hesitation, Bernard was his answer. McDermott noted how Bernard went from one start in a different position to a full-season starter at arguably the most important one on the Bills defense.
