Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen could have been a sneaky good bet to win next year’s MVP award. Could have, because people are apparently catching on.

According to William Hill Sportsbook via SportsLine, Allen is currently the most popular player bet on to win the 2020 MVP with his current bet at 50/1. Allen edged out two other QBs, the Cowboys’ Dak Prescott and the Cardinals’ Kyler Murray:

Allen led the Bills to a 10-6 record last season and toss for 3,089 yards with 20 touchdown passes and nine interceptions. Allen added another 510 yards rushing and nine scores on the ground.

And for reference, the reigning MVP is Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson. In 2019, he had a 13-2 record, passing for 3,127 yards, 36 touchdown passes with six interceptions. Jackson had 1,206 rushing yards and seven scores on the ground.
