Bills’ Josh Allen ‘hopeful’ Stefon Diggs sticks around

Allen speaking to Shady on the topic of Diggs:

Bills quarterback Josh Allen has confided in a former teammate that he is optimistic that receiver Stefon Diggs will not be moved this offseason.

It just so happens that the FS1 cameras were on Allen at the time as well.

Allen, speaking with analyst and ex-teammate LeSean McCoy, said he’s downplaying and speculation that Diggs might be skipping town this summer.

“I don’t really think about that,” Allen said. “I still feel like there’s still work to do and special things that we can accomplish.”

While early in the offseason, headlines have surrounded Diggs once again since some of his interviews at the 2024 Pro Bowl.

During an chat with NFL Network, Diggs was asked about his future. He could have simply said that, yes, he will be back with the Bills next season but that was not the case.

“I don’t know, as far as the money and that type of stuff,” Diggs said. “I can’t control none of that.”

It’s not a request to be traded, but on the other hand, it’s not a glowing review either.
