Tre’Davious White vs. DeVante Parker
In Devante Parker’s previous game against Buffalo he was the catalyst for the Dolphins offense. He was targeted 10 times, came down with five catches, for 55 yards and had one touchdown. In the past four games for the Dolphins, which have been some of their best performances this season, he’s been targeted on average 8.5 times per game. Parker has been explosive, and a useful weapon on third down. In the past four games, he’s averaged 3.75 first per game. Buffalo will need to lock him down to halt Miami’s passing attack.
Lining up against Parker will be stud cornerback, Tre’Davious White. In the past two games White has been shadowing the opponents top receiver. This has led to him playing against rookie Terry McClaurin, who had just 39 yards, and star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who had just 57 yards. Both of those guys had a lot of targets.
White has primarily played in zone coverage during his time with the Bills but he has shown in the last two weeks that he comfortably lockdown his opponents on the outside. If we look back to White’s last game versus Miami, he had one interception, and one forced fumble that was recovered by teammate Jerry Hughes.
BillsMafia will want to see more outstanding performances that White has produced recently, down the last stretch of the season.
