Michael Gallup vs. Levi Wallace

At the beginning of the season Levi Wallace’s star was on the rise. He was locking down his matchups, breaking up passes, and making crucial plays. Now at the back end of the season he may have reached his ceiling. Wallace was exposed by Cleveland, when Wallace gave up an opening drive touchdown, and then the game winning touchdown. Since that Cleveland game, opposing quarterbacks have been targeting Wallace on a more consistent basis and he’s been surrendering big plays.

His matchup is second year receiver Michael Gallup. Gallup is the number two target for Dak Prescott but he has the skillset and ability of a number one receiver. If Gallup can have his way with Wallace which may undo the hard work of his team.

Gallup’s statistics backup his ability, so far this season he has 46 catches, 733 yards, an average of 15.9 yards per catch and he has caught three touchdowns. Wallace will need to have the best game of his season if Buffalo wants to slow down the NFL’s top offense.
