The Buffalo Bills have added Ronald Curry to their coaching staff on the offensive side of the ball.

Curry, 44, has been hired by the Bills, per KPRC2’s Aaron Wilson. However, his exact role at this time is unclear.

Curry was previously an assistant with the New Orleans Saints dating back to 2016. He spent years working with the wide receivers and quarterbacks before being promoted to passing game coordinator.

According to reports including Saints Wire, New Orleans did try to retain Curry but he opted for Buffalo.

During Curry’s tenure in New Orleans, he previously crossed paths with newly-appointed Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady.

Prior to becoming OC, Brady was Buffalo’s quarterbacks coach and there has yet to be a replacement named for him there. It’s possible Curry is taking up a position with the Bills that involves working with quarterback Josh Allen.

In college, Curry played quarterback and receiver at North Carolina. He was a seventh-round choice by the Oakland Raiders in the 2002 NFL draft. In seven seasons with the Raiders, he caught 193 passes for 2,347 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Bills Wire will provide updates when information is made available.
