None us really knew much about soon-to-be New York Giants head coach Joe Judge until a few days ago when it was announced that he was a candidate for their head coaching job.
Judge has a great pedigree as an assistant, working under perhaps the two greatest college and NFL coaches of all time in Alabama’s Nick Saban and Bill Belichick of the New England Patriots.
Belichick, it appears, saw great potential in Judge and mentored him closely.

That’s good new for the Giants, who are craving structure at the moment.
“Joe has done a great job of organizing that as well as taking on some other things with the offense, in particular receivers, so he’s done a great job. He’s an excellent coach,” Belichick said, via Patriots Wire.
The Giants are hoping that Judge breaks two trends. The first is the poor record this organization has had in hiring head coaches recently and the other is the lack of success disciples of Belichick have had as NFL head coaches.
