Preseason favorite Baylor got back on track with a victory against Kansas in Waco. The Bears got off to a 28-3 first-half lead and held on to win 35-23. The Jayhawks are now 5-3 since its surprising 5-0 start to the season.
Texas Tech left no doubt in its dominant performance against West Virginia. The Red Raiders forced four turnovers in the 48-10 victory. Texas Tech quarterback Behren Morton threw for 325 yards and two touchdowns.
