Bettors favor Bills over Titans and Eagles over Vikings in Monday night doubleheader

Betting wasn’t as lopsided in the Vikings-Eagles matchup.

There will be two Monday Night Football games that overlap in Week 2 (you can read more on why here), with the Bills hosting the Titans at 7:15 ET and the Eagles hosting the Vikings at 8:30.

The second game will no doubt draw more interest, as the teams are thought to be closer in competition. But even if the Bills are supposed to blow the Titans out, having an opportunity to watch maybe the best team in the NFL is always a good reason to tune in.

If you have action on either game, you’ll be watching regardless. But how do your picks stack up with the rest of the betting public? Glad you asked.

At Tipico Sportsbook, Buffalo (-9.5) received 76% of the bets against the spread in this matchup and 84% of the handle bet on the spread. Buffalo also received 88% of moneyline bets and 91% of the moneyline handle. As for the total, 57% of bets like the game to go over 47.5 points, but 81% of the money is on the under.

In the second game, 63% of bets picked the Vikings (+2.5) to cover, and that’s where 64% of the handle is too. But moneyline bets favor the Eagles, with 52% of tickets picking them to win and 71% of the handle also on Philly. The public expects these teams to light the scoreboard up a little more with 70% of tickets favoring the game to go over 49.5 points and 64% of the handle going to the over.
