Best teams of the decade

From the professional ranks to the collegiate battles throughout all the divisions, some teams just had a better decade than others.

The end of the 2010s hasn’t been as strong for the LA Galaxy, with the team losing this year’s conference semi-final to the new LA squad in town, LAFC. But the team won three MLS Cups this past decade—more than any other franchise. They had a few reasonable efforts at the U.S. Cup, and arguably helped increase the league’s reach—on the field and within the media (social included)—because of stars like Landon Donovan, Robbie Keane, and now Zlatan Ibrahimović.
