The Minnesota Vikings had a chance to start the season off with a bang against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but they misfired multiple times in a 20-17 loss.
Things were interesting for the Vikings. Quarterback Kirk Cousins threw for 273 of his 344 passing yards in the first half, but his three turnovers prevented the Vikings from taking control of the game.
Not only was it the season opener for the Vikings, but they wore their classic uniforms for the first time. They looked phenomenal in practice and the design on the field to match made it look even better.
